500 Days of Summer

I watched 500 Days of Summer starring Zooey Dechanel and Joesph Gordon-Levitt and last night...It is such a sweet movie that captures that first blush of love really well. And the clothes and interiors of the movie are SO GOOD. I am inspired by Miss Dechanel to grow my bangs longer and wear some liquid eyeliner.
I am also thinking about picking up a copy of the soundtrack- it would be perfect for working in the studio or making dinner on a summer night.

Where did February go?

This month has been a blur...my husband was in Berlin, Germany for eight days having a show and making art all over Berlin and I was home with the girls here in Portland. It was actually a really great week. I fell in love with my children again, and the weather was INCREDIBLE. I am still catching up on sleeping, eating and working ( and blogging!). Here are some pictures from our ladies week.
I am also finishing up a project that I am really excited about...announcement to come soon!

Birds, Birds, Birds!

Ahhh...it feels so good to finally have some photos of my new mobiles! They are so sweet in person and so very hard to photograph. It also feels great to be working again. I was sick all this week with a horrible case of strep throat. I would marry my penicillin I love it so much for making me get better so quickly.
The mobiles will be in my shop tonight (if the girls stay asleep like they should, fingers crossed...)

Finally...

Getting back into the studio! Everyone in my family was sick (we like to take turns) for almost two weeks...I missed my own birthday party and my best friends birthday party. I need a night out!!
Anyway, happy to be sewing and making again. I have a lot of new products in the works. I will keep you all posted!

I thought it would be fun to make a dream holiday gift list...so here are a few things I would love to have. I would also love a FULL TIME NANNY, COOK AND HOUSE KEEPER. ( Sorry, hard night with the girls, it just kills me when they throw a fit over a beautiful dinner I have just shopped for, prepared and cleaned up after. Oh well. Sigh.)



from the top down, a Babylock Eclipse (SELF THREADING!!!) serger, vintage gold and diamond Cartier aviators, Dwell bedding (I would love the whole room please...a quiet room...) Le Cruset dutch ovens...why are they SO EXPENSIVE??, and treats from Anthropologie, I can't help it, I love that place.
