I had the pleasure of making two custom canvases for a sweet little baby named James...I am happy with how they turned out! I really enjoy doing custom work and being inspired by the person I am making things for, especially if they are children.

Owen!

I had the pleasure of making a custom name banner for a little boy named Owen and was so delighted to get this photo! This is the reason I love making products for children. I am so happy that something I made will be a part of this little boys life- it is truly an honor. I know how much all of the handmade things that surround my own children spark their imaginations and I love being a part of that. I am so inspired! I wish that my children would keep themselves magically entertained in my studio so I could spend time with them and work...they so don't!

Spring style crushes

I am loving the idea of thin, silky over sized pants for spring with a pair of great heels...And a great straw hat.
I really need a trip to Mexico, I am so inspired by Mexican folk art and textiles.

Design*Sponge just posted the new Biz Ladies post (they are SO GREAT) about how to "manage parenthood with Biz Ladie-hood", could I need that anymore?? Except the joke might be one them when no one has time to read the post because they are at the UPS store dealing with a tantrum over dried pineapple rings...Ok, maybe that was just me. Today.

New items in my shop!

I have had a little flurry of productivity, ( but you should see our house right now....sigh. Its a mess.) and have added several new items to my shop! I also got word that I will have a booth at Crafty Wonderland this May 1st and 2nd, so I hope to see you there! I will let everyone know when I have all the information. Oh, and I have big order of spring home goodies being delivered to NOUN tomorrow, so if you live in Portland, go by and check them out!
Also- would anyone out there be interested in taking a class from me this summer to make a growth chart, or mobile, or even a hoodie? I am kicking the idea around to host a few classes in my studio. Maybe there is something you would just LOVE To make? Tell me about it!
